Discovering things has always been my husband’s fondness. He loves to explore on just about everything. Though I am aware of this special trait of my husband, I was still surprised when he informed me that he had our RAID configuration problems resolved. I was actually about to call a technician to help us out. But now that it’s already fixed, my worries have faded. It’s probably the anxiety which was so obvious on my face that made my husband eager to put an end to my dilemma. I am an online worker and the configuration problems on our Redundant Array of Independent Disks have caused a delay on my work. I do not want my client to think that I am taking him for granted. I always see to it that my work is delivered on time. Maybe I need to explain to client what really transpired. I hope he will be considerate of my circumstances. If not for my resourceful husband, my computer is probably still at the shop for repair. But just to make sure that this incident will never happen again, I will be more cautious when using my computer. I will not abuse it since it’s just a machine that needs to rest to maintain its efficiency.
School is about to start again and my computer is still not working. According to my brother, it has RAID configuration problems. I do not know anything about RAID except that it stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks. I tried to learn how to fix it but it was not a successful attempt. I am really not into technical stuffs. My brother who happens to be a computer addict surprisingly does not know how to deal with RAID errors. I thought he can help me out when he told me what was wrong with my computer. Not everyone can determine the problem in a malfunctioning computer. But that’s all that he can do. I am worried that studies will be difficult without my computer. I have to ask Dad to send my computer to the repair shop. I know he will be mad at me for not handling my computer with care. But what can I do? Viruses attacked my computer without my knowledge. My computer has anti-virus software but I guess it’s not a good choice. If it’s an efficient program, my computer should not have been badly affected by virus. It’s time to switch to more effective anti-virus software.
Private Files Were Safe
My sister and I were trying to make a website for a business that we plan to put up. We are both fond of fashion accessories and we decided to make money out of it. The website was about to be finished when the computer started playing up. We had to phone the nearest computer repair shop to fix the matter. The technician told us that there were RAID configuration problems on our computer. He told us that he will take the hard disk along with the RAID controller to the shop where he works. My sister and I did not agree. We wanted the technician to work on the configuration problems where we can see him. Apart from the details of the business that we will set up, both of us have personal files on that computer. We do not want anybody to have a copy of those files. Also, we were not sure if we still have the files on it. We asked him to have all of our data returned. We had to pay extra for the services he rendered but we were satisfied. He respected our privacy and recognized that we wanted to keep our confidential files private.
